Recycling is important to save the environment. Recycled wedding attire will also save you money. If you don't tell, they won't know you didn't buy it at an upscale bridal shop and how little you paid. Our gowns are clean. You are assured the stains have come out and not paying for a gown that is stained and not wearable. I can't stress enough the importance of buying a clean and unstained gown.

All gowns in stock, including the once used, new never worn, vintage, retro and sample gowns are one of a kind. Modest and sexy, but all different styles and sizes. Our second hand gowns have only been worn once.

We carry wedding gowns and bridal dresses from top designers: MoriLee, Lady Eleanor, Watters & Watters, Saison Blanche, Lady Roi, Michaelangelo, Alfred Angelo, Marisa, Paloma Blanca, Lila Couture, Oleg Cassini.

You can restyle a gown. Change the sleeves, shorten or remove them. Make it a sheath or strapless gown. Replace the entire top. Add a colored sash. TIP: You can do a sash yourself by buying either 2 3/4" wide or 4" wide double faced, edged ribbon in a craft store. You only need 1 1/2 yards. You will need more if your waist is larger.

It is important to measure yourself or a dress or gown that fits you to get a good fit using this site.

Our gowns are measured to let you know which one will fit without alterations but may be slighty off because your shape may be different from what I am using as the norm. You may be higher or lower waisted.

Trains are measured out from where it hits the floor. The gown size given is from the tag in the gown. Gown sizes are like "One size fits all" which means "fits almost nobody" Each designer sizes differently. Measuring evens the field but is not exact.

The colors shown on this site are not necessarily true to the items. We do our best to depict the actual color but they are often viewed differently on different monitors.

It is important to have your correct bust, waist, hip and length measurements. Compare your measurements with the chart on the right. This will give you an idea of which gowns might fit you. Used gowns may have been altered. New gowns have different manufacturers sizing that are not standardized. Like "Fits All" they usually fit no one.

If possible, choose a larger measurement of the gown. It's easier and cheaper to take a gown in than let it out. If it has to be let out e-mail me to see if there is enough seam allowance.

Our chart is not to be compared with your regular clothing sizes and should only be used as a guide to find our gowns that measure close to what your measurements are.

If you are in the NY Capital District and find a gown you wish to purchase but are not sure it can be altered to fit your measurements please e-mail so I can look at the seams to see how much fabric is there. Then, I'd be glad to make an appointment to have you come in and try it on. I am primarily an online business and not set up for browsing so I have to limit the number of gowns you will be able to see and try on to the one we discussed.
