Designer wedding gown by Marisa. Size 9/10. Cream with pearls
and sequined white lace bodice. The bridal gowns fabric is a shantung, off the shoulder style with a scalloped edge as
well as the 30" train. There are loops for bustling. Measurements: Bust 35.5. Waist 28". Length 52" from underarm to
hem at side seam. Zipper back with hooks and eyes to cover over zipper. The wedding gown is lined and has a stiff gathered
13" long folded over net attached to the bottom of the slip plus a stiff gathered net attached to the slip at the hip.
This used designer wedding gown was cleaned and boxed until
I opened it. Unfortunately there are several marks on the bottom inside of the slip that did not come out when cleaned.
They do not show when wearing the gown. They don't even show on the top side of the slip. There are also two very teeny
stains at the back hemline that are almost imperceptible.
This used gown is a good example of why wedding gowns
should be examined after cleaning but before it is preserved and boxed. It is disappointing to find a cleaned
and preserved wedding gown not to be pristine.
I reluctantly offer this Marisa bridal gown for
sale only because it is a beautiful wedding gown that has been cleaned and preserved. It doesn't stand up
to my standard of "perfect" but it is certainly very wearable just the way it is. Except for these two defects,
that can't be seen while wearing the gown, I rate the condition of the gown as excellent.
