Marisa label. Size 9/10. Cream with pearls and sequined white lace
bodice. The gowns fabric is a shantung, off the shoulder style with a scalloped edge as well as the 30" train. There are loops
for bustling. Measurements: Bust 35.5. Waist 28". Length 52" from underarm to hem at side seam. Zipper back with hooks and
eyes to cover over zipper. Gown is lined and has a stiff gathered 13" long folded over net attached to the bottom
of the slip plus a stiff gathered net attached to the slip at the hip.
This gown was cleaned, preserved and boxed until I opened it. Unfortunately
there are several marks on the bottom underside of the slip that did not come out when cleaned. They do not show when wearing
the gown. There are also two tiny stains at the back hemline that are almost imperceptible.
This gown is a good example of why you should examine your wedding
gown before it is boxed and preserved. After 20 years of storing I'd be very disappointed to find a gown in this condition.
I reluctantly offer this gown for sale because it has been cleaned
and preserved. It doesn't stand up to my standard but it is certainly very wearable just the way it is.
